A few things to help you become a Play Expert
Below are just a few tips and tricks of the game to help you improve your role as Play Expert:
GETTING STARTED
Before your team takes the court be sure to check that you’ve entered all necessary details into Play Vision™. This includes roster, plays, and their audibles. It can get tricky if you do it on the fly!
PRACTICE
You wouldn’t want to play in a game without getting a few shots up first! Be sure to get some practice in before you start logging games to familiarize yourself with the app.
SCOUTING TOOL
RESUME YOUR GAME
If you ever need to log back into a game, head to the Game Details screen. Here you can resume the game where you left off. Just be sure to check that the lineup, and the quarter/half are correct. In the rare event of a crash, you can also close the app and resume the game to pick up where you left off.
ENDING A GAME
Before you end a game, it’s good practice to do one final check on your data. A simple trick is to compare the box score for each player in a game to what you have in the app, and make sure they match up.
FINAL CHECKS
Did we mention to check your data? If you happen to notice you’ve missed something after you’ve ended a game, no worries. Simply go to the Game Details, tap the play with the mistake, and make the correction. Be sure to update any reports that you downloaded to make sure the data is right.
CONNECT TO THE SERVERS
Play Vision™ is built to work offline. However, soon after data has been logged, be sure to connect to the WiFI so you can back up your data. That way if you lose your iPad, you won’t lose your valuable stats.
MAKE PLAY VISION BETTER
